Day 339/365- Acts 26:26

"No one puts Jesus in a corner"

And King Agrippa knows about these things. I speak boldly, for I am sure these events are all familiar to him, for they were not done in a corner! (Acts 26:26 NLT)

The gospels are not fairy tale accounts written about something that happened in the corner of human history. These are actual accounts of real events in human history. They contain details with actual Roman governors.

Paul speaks about this here in Acts. King Agrippa is well aware of the events surrounding Jesus because they are public knowledge.

And this is part of the power of the gospel. It's not only good, it's true. It not only helps us trust God, it's trustworthy. No one witnessed John Smith's magic plates that he supposedly translated into the Book of Mormon. But many people saw Jesus live, teach, die, & return to live again.

And this is another truth that separates Christianity from religion. Christianity is rooted in true historical events while many religions have details that are obscure at best.

This stuff didn't happen in a corner. It really happened in real life with real witnesses. The gospel is truth.
