"People of Privilege"
By God’s grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News. (Ephesians 3:7 NLT)
We often think about living missionally like a kid thinks about cleaning his room. We knows it's necessary & the end result is good but we really want someone else to do it. Living missionally, especially in another context or overseas seems more like a burden than a blessing. It seems more like a duty than a delight.
Paul sees spreading the gospel as a privilege. It's not something that he is so much obligated to do but honored to do. Most of us think about sharing the gospel as if it's a calling that we have never had. But Paul sees it as his life. Not something that starts & stops with trips or event but is his life.
Is sharing the gospel a burden to us or a blessing? Something we are honored to share or something we feel obligated to endure? How can we see it as a holy privilege instead of something we do because we feel like we have to!
